Testing for CE, B (national) marking, certification and approvals

Instytut Spawalnictwa renders services for the purposes of:

• CE marking by Polish and foreign producers in the scope of:
  • Directive 73/23 - low voltage equipment,
  • Directive 97/23 - pressure equipment,
  • Directive 87/404 - simple pressure vessels,
• non-obligatory marking of products with Polish safety mark B,
• declaration and/or acceptance of conformity with standards requirements,
• approval by Technical Supervision Institutions and Marine Classification Societies,

Testing in Laboratory for Welding Technology includes:

• base materials and welding consumables,
• welded joints,
• welding procedures,
• electric and gas welding equipment,
• welding-related ecological and environmental hazards.

The Laboratory is accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation and notified in the European Union.
